La passeggiata si svolgerà con qualsiasi condizione atmosferica e si concluderà presso il borgo medievale di Abbadia Isola, dove verrà celebrata la santa Messa di Natale dal parroco don Doriano Carraro. La partenza è dunque prevista per venerdì 24 dicembre alle 21.30
, dopo la consegna delle torce a partire dalle ore 21, e funzionerà un servizio navetta che assicurerà per tutta la notte collegamenti fra il Castello e Abbadia Isola. Ad attendere gli escursionisti ci saranno come sempre i membri dell'Abbi, la locale associazione di volontariato, che allestirà un grande braciere per gustare bruschette, salsicce e buon vino. Alle 23 verrà celebrata la Messa di Natale presso l'abbazia romanica. Nei locali della vecchia Tinaia sarà allestita una mostra fotografica sulle attività del Cai.
