Concorso dei Vini della Valdelsa , appuntamento biennale organizzato in collaborazione con l'Ais delegazione Valdelsa. Il concorso ha lo scopo di far conoscere e promuovere i vini del territorio, ed il regolamento prevede la gara fra i migliori nettari della zona su tre categorie: vini bianchi, vini rossi con percentuale minima di sangiovese pari all'85% e, in ultimo, vini rossi da vitigni alloctoni o autoctoni con eventuale presenza di sangiovese in misura non superiore al 40%. Scopriremo quindi nei due fine settimana di Boccaccesca chi succederà ai vincitori dell'edizione 2008, ovvero la Vernaccia di San Gimignano Riserva "I Mocali" di Vagnoni per la categoria bianchi, "Luenzo 2005" di Cesani per i rossi min. 85% sangiovese e "Campora 2003" di Falchini per i rossi alloctoni o autoctoni max 40% sangiovese.
Nell'atmosfera di rinnovamento che si respirerà a Certaldo un occhio di riguardo verrà comunque riservato a quegli appuntamenti che, sperimentati nel corso delle ultime edizioni, hanno dimostrato di saper appassionare il pubblico. Vedremo ancora quindi lo

, una specie di reality che vedrà uno degli chef di Boccaccesca girare fra i banchi degli espositori, sceglierne le migliori materie prime e, dal niente, creare un piatto prelibato con il solo ausilio dei prodotti di qualità che ogni anno le aziende espositrici portano a Boccaccesca.
